The EDUball educational balls, created at Wroclaw University of Health and Sport Sciences 20 years ago, are still relevant and used as an innovative teaching aid for preschool and early school teachers and physical education teachers. The EDUball/Brainball concept, co-created by employees of the Department of Team Sports Games: prof. Andrzej Rokita, Tadeusz Rzepa, PhD and Marek Nowicki (entrepreneur), and the idea itself also developed by: Ireneusz Cichy. PhD, Sara Wawrzyniak, PhD the late Agnieszka Wójcik, MA, Agnieszka Krysmann, PhD, Magdalena Kaczmarczyk, PhD and Marcin Korbecki, PhD is an approach to teaching based on an interdisciplinary teaching model. Pursuant to the letter of intent signed between SmartCity Wrocław and the Wroclaw University of Health and Sport Sciences, free training for teachers and instructors on the use of EDUballs will be conducted in March 2023 among children with disabilities at the early school education level and among seniors, as well.
