On 19 May 2026, the 1st Lubusz Mathematics Congress “Pitiscus Inspires” was held at the Primary School in Iłowa, organized by the Superintendent of Education Office in Gorzów Wielkopolski. The congress provided a platform for discussions on the future of mathematics education, the exchange of experiences, and the presentation of modern teaching methods for children and young people. The event opened with the debate “The Mathematical Compass of Tomorrow,” featuring Katarzyna Lubnauer – Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Education, and Mariusz Biniewski – Director of the Centre for Education Development.
One of the invited speakers was Professor Andrzej Rokita, who delivered a lecture on the use of mini-EDUball in mathematics teaching and also conducted a demonstration using mini-EDUball equipment.
