On April 24-26th, 2019 a Polish-Vietnamese videoconference “EDUball / BRAINball – Innovative teaching method for educators” was held. The conference was organized by employees of our University: Assoc. prof. Andrzej Rokita, Ireneusz Cichy, PhD and Sara Wawrzyniak, PhD and An Giang University (AGU) in Vietnam. AGU employee, Han Van Pham, a PhD student of prof. Rokita, with whom they jointly carried out a research project using EDUball/BRAINballs in a primary school in Vietnam.
On the first day, prof. Rokita presented a lecture on the use of EDUball/BRAINball in early school education. The following day, Han Van Pham conducted practical classes with teachers and students from An Giang University in Vietnam. On the last day, two practical workshops were held: the first one with children from the ATUT Bilingual Primary School in Wrocław, conducted by Ireneusz Cichy, PhD and the second one with children from the second grade of primary school from Vietnam, led by early mentioned a PhD student of prof. Rokita, HanVan Pham.
The practical classes brought a lot of joy and smiles among children, teachers and students from both Poland and Vietnam. Representatives from An Giang University expressed their willingness to cooperate between universities and conduct classes with EDUball/BRAINball balls.
