
The project titled “Learning by Moving! Innovative and Interdisciplinary Teaching Methods in Preschool and Primary Education,” submitted under the Erasmus+ program (Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education), in which our University is the leader for the first time, has been approved for funding. The project was developed in collaboration with international partners: Lviv State University of Physical Culture named after Ivan Boberskij (Ukraine), University of Rome “Foro Italico” (Italy), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), and from Poland: University of Warsaw, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, and the Maria Grzegorzewska University in Warsaw. The funding amount of the grant, which will be implemented for 30 months (01/09/2024-28/02/2027), is EUR 400,000.
From our university, the project was prepared by Sara Wawrzyniak, PhD (project leader), Assoc. prof.. Ireneusz Cichy, and prof. Andrzej Rokita (academic supervisor).
Out of 151 applications, “Learning by Moving!” was classified in 16th position, and 36 applications were qualified for financing (results of the application competition).
